The restaurant offers authentic Cantonese-style cuisine, a rare find in today's NYC Chinatown scene. Being in a family with discerning tastes for Cantonese dishes, we were thoroughly impressed while celebrating my sister's birthday.... Aside from the delightful King Crab prepared in 3 ways, the lamb chops and Peking duck were the standout favorites. The establishment boasts a modern, clean ambiance with an attractive bar area, although it lacks a warm, inviting atmosphere. Its location might be slightly distanced from the bustling hub of popular Chinese establishments. Nevertheless, considering Manhattan pricing, the rates are reasonable. It's definitely worth a visit, especially for a group dining experience suitable for family-style meals. Count me in for a return visit!

What words can capture the essence of Vybes 109/New York Vybes, the restaurant whose name only hints at the magic? In one room, there was a wedding, a birthday, and a German family, all together in harmony. And as if that wasn’t enough, we had the honor of meeting the designer behind it all. RUN don't walk to eat there!

I have grown up in NYC my entire life and swear this was such a welcome, delicious, pleasant surprise! Egg drop soup was so rich and flavorful! Chicken and string beans were so fresh and tasty and light and perfectly seasoned! Egg custard buns on the dim sum menu were incredible, very runny on the inside if you like that preference. Waitress explained how to eat soup dumplings, and checked on us often. Love when restaurants give a pitcher of water. LOVED! Will be back! Place was empty so wasn’t expecting it to be as DELISH as it was, made it 10x better Will be back!

Very delish Chinese food. We were just walking around and wanted some food. Saw their menu and gave it a try. Walk inside and go downstairs and there’s a nice clean quiet restaurant. The owner was very nice and welcoming. They prepared the food very quickly and it was hot and so good! Would recommend , owner says not a lot of people know of her restaurant only locals do. So I’m leaving a review for her! Thank you for the good food! And wish you more costumers in the future!

We celebrated my dad’s birthday here and it was a perfect experience start to finish. We had a large group and ordered many things, and all of them exceeded our expectations. A few pics below. In particular, we were struck by how fresh and ingredient-forward the dishes were. Nothing was coated too heavily or hidden by thick sauces—you could taste the quality of the seafood, steak, and Peking duck. We also got to meet the owner, who is clearly passionate about his restaurant and about the high quality of the food. His creative touch was apparent in the decor—there’s a dragon painted on the ceiling! Was a nice touch to have a live pianist in the corner as well, and service was friendly and welcoming. They are still in their soft opening. We are looking forward to returning once the main room upstairs is open and the bar is fully stocked. TLDR: Highly recommend for authentic Cantonese food with some other specialties (like the Peking duck served three ways). Great for special occasions—my dad usually doesn’t like eating out but had the best time here. Make sure to pre-order the seafood so they can get it for you fresh!

We were just walking by this restaurant and we decided to try it out. The pork Dim Sum was so yummy. We also had some Chinese beer and tejer were good as well. The spring rolls were good too. Our server was supper friendly and kind. He even explained how to eat the dim sum.
